Happy Trails Farm

Through this joint program with the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, Los Angeles-area special education classes are invited to visit the beautiful 26-acre Ramirez Canyon Park in Malibu. Transportation is provided through the RTP bus program and specially built handicap-accessible paths enable groups of children and young adults with disabilities to spend the day in nature, participating in activities with animals and learning about the ecology of the mountains. Happy Trails Farm relies on its wonderful volunteers to ensure children can enjoy the therapeutic effects of animals in a safe environment. Parents and siblings are invited to join the fun, too.
