Happy Trails for Kids was excited to be among a few select Los Angeles area charities to benefit from the We Are LA Family Music Festival, a collaborative day of music and interactive, educational family activities at the StubHub Center. 

The Inaugural WE ARE LA Family Festival promoted the importance of education for our community’s children during the “Back to School” month of September while celebrating and engaging the children and families in Los Angeles. It was a great day with more than 100 Happy Trails for Kids families in attendance enjoying the nearly 40 interactive booths, 35 performers and a fun-filled event.

Happy Trails hosted a booth with life sized board games that attendees got to enjoy throughout the day including playing Jenga and Checkers. 

The day-long music festival featured musical performances by Rachel Platten, Jessica Sanchez, Kevin Costner and Modern West, Reluctant Apostles featuring Katey Sagal, Lisa Loeb (who has her own foundation to benefit sending kids to CAMP!), Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, Ozmatli presenting Ozokidz, just to name a few.  We can't wait until next year.
