Providing a sense of connection and continuity is a vital part of the Happy Trails philosophy.

Our programming extends well beyond camping, and maintaining a consistent and active presence in the lives of the campers is critical to our model. Our year-round educational, cultural, outdoor and social programming activities engage, and expose, youth to experiences that they might not otherwise have. It is through these continued engagements that we build the trust and relationships vital to impacting the lives of these children. We have also expanded programming to include opportunities for attendance by the full "family", allowing for caregivers and other important connections in the lives of the camper to participate in the Happy Trails community.
