The Acton Camp

This marks a transformative moment for Happy Trails for Kids. In January 2025, the LA County Board of Supervisors unanimously deeded 133 acres of land in Acton to Happy Trails, giving us our first permanent home after years of borrowing camp space. The property includes more than 80 structures and will soon feature hiking trails, aquatics, program space, high ropes, sports fields, and more. It’s on track to become the largest foster youth camp in the country - a national model for healing, leadership, and community.

While there is still much to build, we are deeply proud of how far we’ve come. And, we would love for you to be part of this story.
