Susan has dedicated her career to advocating for children, with a focus on youth in foster care. She began as a dependency attorney representing abused and neglected children in court, later transitioning to policy work. As Policy Director at Children’s Law Center of California, she advances initiatives that improve outcomes for more than 32,000 foster youth across Los Angeles and Sacramento Counties. Susan holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
