Lindsay Elliott, JD, MSW

Executive Director


 Lindsay is a longtime passionate advocate for youth in foster care. She has worked at the Children's Law Center of California since 2008, where she champions the rights of teenagers and young adults in foster care in Los Angeles County. Lindsayโ€™s efforts have resulted in laws, policies and statewide coalitions that better support and prepare youth leaving foster care to live happy and healthy lives. Prior to assuming her current role, Lindsay provided direct legal representation to youth in Los Angelesโ€™ foster care system. Before joining CLC, Lindsay worked at Bay Area Legal Services in Tampa, Florida primarily representing victims of domestic violence. Additionally, she interned and volunteered extensively with the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Florida. Lindsay earned her B.A., Masters in Social Work (MSW), and J.D. from Florida State University.
